
What is Online Group Calendar?
Online Group Calendar allows you to manage events and tasks that are scheduled
on your personal and group calendars. You can use it to create and maintain
groups; schedule, view, and search events and tasks on group calendars, other
users' calendars, and personal calendars; schedule common resources, such as
meeting rooms; and access and maintain files.
How do I setup my Online Group Calendar?
Arcadia Village Internet will automatically associate your Arcadia Village any
premium services such as email, fax, and file storage. Simply go to the
Arcadia Village Homepage and click on the "Calendar" link in the upper right
hand corner of your browser. Enter your username and password.
Can I search for available time for my attendees when I
schedule an event?
Yes, you can check for the
next time attendees are available for events. When checking for the availability
of other users, the availability of scheduled resources is also checked.
How do I attach files for other users to view?
You can attach files to events and groups so that users can view the
files associated with events and groups, such as a meeting agenda. You can
attach files from your Online File Folder, if you have it, or you can attach
files from your computer.
What are the system requirements for Online Group Calendar?
The supported browsers are:
Do event attendees need Online Group Calendar accounts to
receive and respond to invitations?
Event attendees do not need an Online Group
Calendar account to receive and respond to invitations. Event invitations
are sent to the attendee's email address, and the attendee can accept, accept as
tentative, or decline an invitation using the buttons included in the email
message.
Can I schedule a resource through Online Group Calendar?
Yes, you can add resources
to groups and then specify whether other users and groups can schedule the
resource.
Can I check responses to my meeting invitations?
Yes, when an attendee
responds to your event invitation, you receive the response in an email message
and the event is updated with the attendee's response. To view the
responses, you can view the email message that was sent to you or view the event
details in your Online Group Calendar.
Why don't some of my meetings show up on my calendar?
If you accepted a meeting,
and it didn't show up on your calendar, it may have been blocked by your popup
blocker. You can add Online Group Calendar to your trusted sites list to solve
the problem.
Can I schedule Online Group Calendar events on my Outlook
calendar?
When you receive an Online Group Calendar
invitation, you can add the activity to your Outlook calendar. However,
meetings you schedule through Outlook cannot be added to your Online Group
Calendar.
